A fine coldpainted bronze inkwell in the form of a Bulldog's Head, set on a wooden tray base.
The dog is painted brown and depicted with an open mouth which opens further to reveal the inkwell, a black metal liner, attached.
He is wearing a black studded collar and has glass eyes.
I cannot see any makers mark so am describing the piece as vintage.
He is set on a dark wood bowl shaped base, capable of holding paperclips etc on a desk.
3.5" (8.5cm high)
Condition is very good, with a tiny amount of rubbing to the paint on one cheek. The hinge is sound and strong with no wobble. He is also rather weighty.
A very handsome boy!
