Very Pretty Late19th, Early 20th Century Staffordshire? porcelain and ormolu mounted Bonbonniere with hinged cover in the form of a recumbent  dog, 
Initialed DV at the centre front of the piece.

There is a hairline crack that runs around the dog's shoulders and over his back  and there has been a repair - the paintwork has been retouched. This is more noticeable in the pics than in reality - but it is there- and it is reflected in the price, which undamaged, would be £600+
